For over 30 years NHSJ a non-profit organization has been teaching homeowners how to maintain their properties to promote safety and prevent future costly repairs. The NHSJ Home Maintenance Training Program provides its participants with knowledge and skills to protect their homes and save them money; homeowners are thought how to make basic repairs involving plumbing, installations of window, door, toilet, hardwood and parquet flooring, as well as faucets, washers, etc. We offer a beginning, intermediate and an advance class taught by a qualified instructor, coupled with environmental workshops on mold and mildew from the Housing and Preservation Department (HPD).
