Neighborhood Housing Services Jamaica (NHSJ) works through the Mortgage Coalition Program to help buyers with mortgage placement. One visit to the NHSJ office can put you in touch with ten conventional lenders who are committed to increasing homeownership opportunities in our communities.
NHSJ works hard to bring special projects to the community that will help improve the quality of life.
COUNSELING FOR FIRST TIME HOME BUYERSWe offer a wide range of services beginning with education. Our educational courses are designed to help prepare buyers for the home buying process through one-on-one counseling, homebuyers clubs and IBJ Educational Seminars. HOMEBUYER EDUCATIONOur Home Buyer Education Program offers a comprehensive educational package for anyone who wants to learn more about how to successfully buy a home. This class is required for potential home buyers who want to access special programs that provide down payment assistance.
